Accept Everything.

Listen
Seein’ you got ritualistic
Plans in my soul of addiction for now
‘Cause I’m fallin’ apart, yeah
Tension
Between us just like picket fences
You got issues that I won’t mention for now
‘Cause we’re fallin’ apart
Passionate from miles away
Passive with the things you say
Passin’ up on my old ways
I can’t blame you no, no
Passionate from miles away
Passive with the things you say
Passin’ up on my old ways
I can’t blame you no, no
Listen
Hard at buildin’ trust from a distance
I think we should rule out commitment for now
‘Cause we’re fallin’ apart
Leavin’
You’re just doin’ that to get even
Don’t pick up the pieces, just leave it for now
They keep fallin’ apart
Passionate from miles away
Passive with the things you say
Passin’ up on my old ways
I can’t blame you no, no
Passionate from miles away
Passive with the things you say
Passin’ up on my old ways
I can’t blame you no, no
Trying to think of the right thing to say

This song’s title is ‘Passionfruit’. I wonder why Drake or Aubrey Graham or the other two songwriters Nana and Noah agree with using this. Not that I object or anything. I’m just wondering. I liked that the song is catchy and I like the beats. It is also pretty straightforward. Somehow as I listen, I feel it has a deeper historical context to it. Like about a long distance relationship. Some trust issues.

At times, being together not miles apart also need to build trust. It can be by being best of friends. Or by revealing your past. No matter what happens, always tell the truth and hide nothing. Talk through with a positive mind and always demonstrate acceptance instead of rejection. Accept EVERYTHING  – about him.

We must accept finite disappointment but never lose infinite hope. Martin Luther King, Jr.
